أحدثت الحلقة الثامنة من مسلسل «ورد وشوكولاتة» زلزالاً على مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي، بعد عرض مشهد قتل بطلة العمل زينة بطريقة صادمة وواقعية، ما أعاد إلى الأذهان فوراً تفاصيل مقتل الإعلامية المصرية شيماء جمال.
المشهد الذي جسّده الفنان محمد فراج بدور الزوج أثار ضجة واسعة، إذ قاد الضحية إلى منزل جديد بحجة معاينته، ثم باغتها بضربة على مؤخرة الرأس، قبل أن يخنقها ويستخدم مادة كيميائية لإخفاء آثار الجريمة، وينتهي المشهد بدفن الجثة في مكان مجهول، وهي تفاصيل تطابقت بشكل لافت مع الجريمة الحقيقية التي هزت مصر عام 2022.
وتضاعفت الصدمة بعدما تداول الجمهور مقطع فيديو يدمج بين مشاهد المسلسل وبين تسجيل صوتي لوالدة شيماء جمال وهي تروي تفاصيل مقتل ابنتها في أحد البرامج، ليظهر التطابق في التسلسل الزمني لتنفيذ الجريمة بطريقة اعتبرها كثيرون «مرعبة».
هذه المقارنة لم تكن الأولى، إذ سبق أن تصدرت الحلقات الماضية الترند بسبب المواجهات الحادة بين زينة وفراج، بينما يواصل العمل إثارة نقاشات واسعة حول تصوير العنف الأسري والجريمة في الدراما.
القضية الأصلية التي استند إليها الجمهور في المقارنة تعود إلى يونيو 2022، حين اختفت شيماء جمال قبل أن يُعثر على جثتها مدفونة داخل مزرعة نائية. وكشفت التحقيقات تخطيطاً مسبقاً للقتل شارك فيه الزوج أيمن حجاج وشريكه حسين الغرابلي، وانتهت القضية بإعدام المتهمين بعد الإجراءات القضائية وتصديق المفتي والرئاسة.
يذكر أن مسلسل «ورد وشوكولاتة» من تأليف محمد رجاء وإخراج ماندو العدل وإنتاج العدل جروب، ويشارك في بطولته زينة، ومحمد فراج، ومراد مكرم، وصفاء الطوخي، إضافة إلى وجوه شابة بينها يوسف حشيش وآية سليم.
The eighth episode of the series “Ward and Chocolate” caused an earthquake on social media after a shocking and realistic scene depicting the murder of the lead character, Zeina, was aired, immediately recalling the details of the murder of the Egyptian media figure Shaimaa Gamal.
The scene, portrayed by actor Mohamed Farag in the role of the husband, sparked widespread outrage as he led the victim to a new house under the pretext of inspecting it, then struck her on the back of the head, before choking her and using a chemical substance to conceal the crime, ending with the body being buried in an unknown location. These details strikingly matched the real crime that shook Egypt in 2022.
The shock intensified when the audience circulated a video clip that combined scenes from the series with an audio recording of Shaimaa Gamal’s mother recounting the details of her daughter’s murder on a program, revealing a disturbing similarity in the timeline of the crime’s execution that many considered “terrifying.”
This comparison was not the first, as previous episodes had already topped the trends due to the intense confrontations between Zeina and Farag, while the series continues to spark wide discussions about the portrayal of domestic violence and crime in drama.
The original case that the audience referenced for comparison dates back to June 2022, when Shaimaa Gamal disappeared before her body was found buried inside a remote farm. Investigations revealed premeditated planning for the murder involving the husband Ayman Haggag and his partner Hussein Al-Gharabli, and the case concluded with the execution of the accused after judicial procedures and the approval of the mufti and the presidency.
It is worth noting that the series “Ward and Chocolate” is written by Mohamed Raga and directed by Mando Al-Adl, produced by Al-Adl Group, and stars Zeina, Mohamed Farag, Murad Makram, Safaa Al-Toukhi, along with young faces including Youssef Hashish and Aya Salim.
