كسر الفنان اللبناني راغب علامة صمته المُطبق منذ سنوات حول قضية زميله الفنان السابق فضل شاكر، وذلك خلال لقاء تلفزيوني بعدما تعرض لاتهامات تربطه بها، بسبب نصيحة وجهها له.
وأعاد علامة، الذي تعرض لهجوم حاد في السابق بسبب دعوته فضل شاكر إلى تسليم نفسه، التأكيد على موقفه قائلاً: «أنا نصحت فضل بتسليم نفسه للقضاء اللبناني… البعض فسر كلامي على أنه كراهية أو عداء شخصي، لكن بالعكس، كنت أرى أن هذه الخطوة هي الوحيدة القادرة على إنهاء أزمته وإعطائه فرصة للدفاع عن نفسه بشكل قانوني».
وأوضح السوبر ستار الفارق بين الحب الفني والموقف من القضية، فقال حرفياً: «أنا أحب فنان اسمه فضل شاكر، صوت عظيم، وكنت من أوائل الناس اللي شجعوه ووقفوا معه في بداياته».
وتابع راغب علامة: «لكن كشخص متورط في قضايا أمنية كبيرة، أنا لا أعطي رأياً ولا أحكم، أترك الأمر للقضاء اللبناني الذي هو ملجأ كل مظلوم وكل متهم يريد أن يثبت براءته».
وأضاف علامة بنبرة واضحة: «القضاء هو الفيصل… إذا كان بريئاً سيخرج بريئاً، وإذا كان مذنباً فسيدفع الثمن. لكن البقاء خارج القانون 12 سنة لن يحل المشكلة».
يأتي كلام راغب علامة قبل أيام قليلة فقط من جلسة المحاكمة المرتقبة لفضل شاكر أمام المحكمة العسكرية يوم 26 نوفمبر الجاري في 4 قضايا خطيرة، أبرزها الانتماء إلى تنظيم إرهابي مسلح، وتمويله، وحيازة أسلحة غير مرخصة.
The Lebanese artist Ragheb Alama broke his long silence regarding the issue of his former colleague, artist Fadl Shaker, during a television interview after facing accusations linking him to it due to advice he had given.
Alama, who had previously faced severe backlash for urging Fadl Shaker to surrender, reaffirmed his stance by saying: “I advised Fadl to surrender to the Lebanese judiciary… some interpreted my words as hatred or personal animosity, but on the contrary, I saw that this step was the only one capable of ending his crisis and giving him a chance to defend himself legally.”
The superstar clarified the difference between artistic love and his stance on the issue, stating literally: “I love an artist named Fadl Shaker, a great voice, and I was one of the first people to encourage him and stand by him in his early days.”
Ragheb Alama continued: “But as a person involved in serious security issues, I do not give opinions or judgments; I leave the matter to the Lebanese judiciary, which is the refuge for every wronged person and every accused who wants to prove their innocence.”
Alama added clearly: “The judiciary is the arbitrator… if he is innocent, he will be released innocent, and if he is guilty, he will pay the price. But remaining outside the law for 12 years will not solve the problem.”
Ragheb Alama’s remarks come just a few days before the anticipated trial session for Fadl Shaker in the military court on November 26 of this month on four serious charges, the most prominent of which is belonging to an armed terrorist organization, funding it, and possessing unlicensed weapons.
