أكدت الفنانة السعودية شيماء الفضل أن مشاركتها بفيلمها الإماراتي «باب» في الدورة الـ46 لمهرجان القاهرة السينمائي الدولي كانت تجربة مثيرة ومليئة بالتحديات، مشيرة إلى أن اختيار الفيلم للمشاركة يعكس تقديراً كبيراً لمجهود صُنّاعه.
صعوبات التصوير
وأوضحت الفضل في حديث خاص لـ«عكاظ» أن تصوير الفيلم كان مرهقاً نفسياً، نظراً لاعتماده الكبير على البعد النفسي للشخصيات، وأضافت أن الدور لم يتضمن تغييرات شكلية أو تعدد إطلالات، ما جعل الأداء يعتمد على التفاصيل الإنسانية الدقيقة فقط.
قصة الفيلم
وتدور أحداث الفيلم حول توأمتين، نسمة ووحيدة، تفقد إحداهما حياتها، ويرصد العمل رحلة الأخت الباقية خلال محاولتها مواصلة حياتها بعد فقد شقيقتها، على مدار ساعة ونصف من المشاهد المكثفة عاطفياً.

وأشادت شيماء الفضل بالتطور الملحوظ للسينما السعودية، مؤكدة أن حضور المواهب السعودية أصبح بارزاً في المهرجانات العربية والدولية، وأن هؤلاء الفنانين يستحقون كل التقدير والفرص المتاحة لهم.

Shooting Difficulties
Al-Fadl explained in a special interview with “Okaz” that filming the movie was psychologically exhausting, due to its heavy reliance on the psychological dimension of the characters. She added that the role did not involve any physical changes or multiple appearances, which made the performance depend solely on precise human details.
The Story of the Film
The film revolves around twin sisters, Nesma and Wahida, one of whom loses her life. The work captures the journey of the surviving sister as she attempts to continue her life after the loss of her sibling, over an hour and a half of emotionally intense scenes.

Shaimaa Al-Fadl praised the noticeable development of Saudi cinema, affirming that the presence of Saudi talents has become prominent in Arab and international festivals, and that these artists deserve all the appreciation and opportunities available to them.
