وأعربت المخرجة شهد أمين في تصريحات صحفية عن سعادتها بعرض الفيلم للمرة الأولى أمام الجمهور العربي، مؤكدة أن تقديمه في جدة بعد مشاركته في مهرجانات عالمية يمثل لحظة مؤثرة تمثل احتفاءً برحلة بدأت من أرض الوطن.

ومن المقرر عرض الفيلم في ميدان الثقافة بجدة أيام 6 و7 و13 ديسمبر، في 3 صالات مختلفة ضمن فعاليات المهرجان.
قصة إنسانية
وتدور أحداث «هجرة» حول موسم الحج، من خلال رحلة إنسانية وروحية لجدّة وحفيدتيها، تسلط الضوء على الروابط العميقة بين النساء السعوديات والبحث عن الهوية، في رحلة تمتد من الطائف إلى مكة ثم شمال المملكة.

وجرى تصوير الفيلم في 8 مدن سعودية، بمشاركة نخبة من الممثلين، وهو من إخراج وتأليف شهد أمين، ومن إنتاج مشترك سعودي عراقي مصري بريطاني، وبدعم من جهات عدة أبرزها هيئة الأفلام، وصندوق البحر الأحمر، وفيلم العلا، ونيوم.

A Human Story
The events of “Migration” revolve around the Hajj season, through a human and spiritual journey of a grandmother and her two granddaughters, highlighting the deep connections between Saudi women and the search for identity, in a journey that extends from Taif to Mecca and then to the north of the Kingdom.

The film was shot in 8 Saudi cities, featuring a selection of actors, and is directed and written by Shahd Amin. It is a joint Saudi-Iraqi-Egyptian-British production, supported by several entities, most notably the Film Commission, the Red Sea Fund, AlUla Film, and NEOM.
