يعرض فيلم «Giant» للفنان أمير المصري في صالات السينما في الدول العربية اعتباراً من 14 يناير القادم.
قصة نسيم حميد
يروي الفيلم قصة الملاكم اليمني البريطاني نسيم حميد، وصعوده من شوارع شيفيلد إلى بطولة العالم تحت إشراف مدربه بريندان انجل. ويشارك في العمل عدد من النجوم منهم بيرس بروسنان، من إخراج وتأليف روان اثالي، وإنتاج سيلفستر ستالون.
وحقق «Giant» إشادات واسعة عند عرضه في افتتاح مهرجان البحر الأحمر، وفاز الفيلم السابق للمصري في جائزة التانيت الذهبي كأفضل فيلم في مهرجان قرطاج السينمائي الدورة 59، كما شارك في مهرجانات البحر الأحمر وتالين الليالي السوداء السينمائي.
وشارك أمير المصري أيضاً في فيلم «100 Nights of Hero» المقتبس عن رواية لإيزابيل جرينبيرج، وحقق نجاحاً كبيراً في مهرجانات لندن وفينيسيا السينمائية، حيث يؤدي دور جيروم في إطار خيالي رومانسي.
يواصل أمير المصري نشاطه التلفزيوني من خلال مشاركته في الموسم الثاني من المسلسل الأمريكي «The Agency» بدور سعيد، ضابط مخابرات إماراتي، إلى جانب نخبة من النجوم العالميين مثل مايكل فاسبندر، جيفري رايت، كاثرين ووترستون، هارييت سانسوم هاريس، جون ماجارو، ريتشارد جير.
The film “Giant” by artist Amir El-Masry will be showing in cinemas across Arab countries starting January 14th.
The Story of Naseem Hamed
The film tells the story of British-Yemeni boxer Naseem Hamed, and his rise from the streets of Sheffield to the world championship under the guidance of his coach Brendan Ingle. The film features several stars, including Pierce Brosnan, and is directed and written by Rowan Athale, with production by Sylvester Stallone.
“Giant” received widespread acclaim when it premiered at the Red Sea Film Festival, and El-Masry’s previous film won the Golden Tanit award for Best Film at the 59th Carthage Film Festival. It also participated in the Red Sea and Tallinn Black Nights Film Festivals.
Amir El-Masry also starred in the film “100 Nights of Hero,” adapted from a novel by Isabel Greenberg, which achieved great success at the London and Venice Film Festivals, where he plays the role of Jerome in a romantic fantasy setting.
Amir El-Masry continues his television activity by participating in the second season of the American series “The Agency” as Said, an Emirati intelligence officer, alongside a host of international stars such as Michael Fassbender, Jeffrey Wright, Katherine Waterston, Harriet Sansom Harris, John Magaro, and Richard Gere.
