وأوضح عز في تصريحات إذاعية أن طموحه يتمثل في تقديم أعمال فنية تعيش طويلًا في ذاكرة الجمهور، مشيرًا إلى أنه لا يهتم بالألقاب بقدر اهتمامه بتقديم أفلام ناجحة تستمر مشاهدتها بعد مرور عشرين أو ثلاثين عامًا على إنتاجها.
