تعرّض شاعر العرضة الجنوبية عبدالله بن عيظه البيضاني الزهراني، أمس (الأحد)، لحادث مروري أثناء عودته من محافظة المخواة إلى منزله في منطقة الباحة، إثر نوبة انخفاض حاد في مستوى السكر.
وبحسب مصادر مقرّبة، أسفر الحادث عن كسور ورضوض متفرقة، فيما وُصفت حالته بالمستقرة، ويجري التنسيق لنقله إلى مستشفى الملك فهد بالباحة لاستكمال الفحوصات والعلاج.
قلق واسع بين محبيه
وأثار تداول الخبر عبر منصات التواصل موجة قلق بين محبي شاعر العرضة، الذي يُعد من أكثر شعرائها جماهيرية في المنطقة الجنوبية، لما يتمتع به من حضور لافت وصوت مميز وأسلوب شعري جزيل.
مسيرة حافلة بالعطاء
وُلد البيضاني عام 1380هـ في قرية بني هريرة بمنطقة الباحة، وبدأ مسيرته الشعرية في سن مبكرة عام 1394هـ، فيما كانت بداياته التعليمية في مدارس الباحة.
وشغل خلال مسيرته العملية عدداً من المناصب القيادية، من بينها تكليفه وكيلاً لمحافظة المندق، إلى جانب حضوره اللافت في المهرجانات الوطنية والمناسبات الرسمية.
ويصفه متابعوه بأنه شاعر «غير عادي»، خصوصاً في فن الرد والشقر الذي تميّز به، إلى جانب براعته في شعر الحكمة والحماسة والغزل العذري والنصيحة. ورغم الألقاب التي حصدها، عُرف برفضه لها، مفضلاً أن يُنادى باسمه مجرداً.
ويبقى البيضاني أحد أبرز الأصوات في ساحة العرضة الشعبية، بما يمتلكه من جزالة في الشعر وغزارة في العطاء، جعلته يحظى بمكانة خاصة لدى جمهوره.

The Southern Ardha poet Abdullah bin Aitha Al-Baidhani Al-Zahrani was involved in a traffic accident yesterday (Sunday) while returning from the Al-Makhwah governorate to his home in the Al-Baha region, due to a sudden drop in blood sugar levels.
According to close sources, the accident resulted in fractures and various bruises, while his condition has been described as stable, and arrangements are being made to transfer him to King Fahd Hospital in Al-Baha for further tests and treatment.
Widespread Concern Among His Fans
The news circulating on social media has sparked a wave of concern among the fans of the Ardha poet, who is considered one of the most popular poets in the southern region, thanks to his striking presence, distinctive voice, and rich poetic style.
A Career Full of Contributions
Al-Baidhani was born in 1380 AH in the village of Bani Huraira in the Al-Baha region, and he began his poetic career at an early age in 1394 AH, while his educational beginnings were in the schools of Al-Baha.
Throughout his career, he held several leadership positions, including being appointed as the deputy governor of Al-Mundaq, in addition to his notable presence at national festivals and official events.
His followers describe him as an “extraordinary” poet, especially in the art of response and the “Shuqur” style that he is distinguished by, alongside his proficiency in wisdom poetry, enthusiasm, romantic poetry, and advice. Despite the titles he has earned, he is known for rejecting them, preferring to be called simply by his name.
Al-Baidhani remains one of the most prominent voices in the field of popular Ardha, possessing a richness in poetry and a wealth of contributions that have earned him a special place among his audience.
