أكد الفنان المصري أحمد ماهر أن الفيديو المسيء المتداول للفنان المصري رامز جلال قديم ويعود إلى حوالى عدة أشهر، موضحًا أنه لم يتواصل مع رامز أو ياسر جلال بسبب الخلافات القائمة.
ظروف تصوير الفيديو
أوضح ماهر في تصريح خاص لـ«عكاظ» أن الفيديو تم تصويره أثناء خروجه من عزاء زميل له، حيث فوجئ بالكاميرات وأجهزة التسجيل، ما وضعه تحت ضغط نفسي وعصبي.
زلة لسان
وأضاف أحمد ماهر أن ما صدر منه تجاه رامز جلال كان عبارة عفوية وزلة لسان غير مقصودة نتيجة الضغط النفسي والعصبي الذي تعرض له أثناء تصوير الفيديو.
مصير التحقيق
أما بشأن مصير تحويله للتحقيق في نقابة المهن التمثيلية، فقال ماهر إن النقابة تتولى متابعة الأمر حتى الآن، ولم يتم تحديد موعد للتحقيق بعد.
اعتذار رسمي من النقابة
وكانت نقابة المهن التمثيلية برئاسة الفنان أشرف زكي، قدمت اعتذاراً رسمياً لأسرة المخرج الراحل جلال توفيق، والفنانين ياسر جلال ورامز جلال عما بدر من الفنان المصري أحمد ماهر من تصريحات مسيئة.

Ahmed Maher added that what he said regarding Ramiz Jalal was an off-the-cuff remark and an unintended slip of the tongue due to the psychological and nervous pressure he experienced during the filming of the video.
Fate of the Investigation
As for the fate of his referral for investigation by the Actors’ Syndicate, Maher stated that the syndicate is still following up on the matter, and no date for the investigation has been set yet.
Official Apology from the Syndicate
The Actors’ Syndicate, headed by artist Ashraf Zaki, issued an official apology to the family of the late director Jalal Tawfiq, and to artists Yasser Jalal and Ramiz Jalal for the offensive statements made by the Egyptian artist Ahmed Maher.
