صرّح المتحدث الرسمي باسم وزارة الدفاع اللواء الركن تركي المالكي، بأنه تم رصد إطلاق ثلاثة صواريخ باليستية باتجاه منطقة الرياض، وقد تم اعتراض أحد الصواريخ، فيما سقط الصاروخان الآخران في منطقة غير مأهولة.
The official spokesman for the Ministry of Defense, Major General Turki Al-Maliki, stated that three ballistic missiles were detected launched towards the Riyadh area, and one of the missiles was intercepted, while the other two fell in an uninhabited area.
