أكد أمير منطقة المدينة المنورة الأمير سلمان بن سلطان بن عبدالعزيز، أن شرف خدمة الحجاج والمعتمرين والزوار لم يكن يوماً مسؤولية عابرة، بل هو نهج راسخ قامت عليه هذه البلاد منذ توحيدها على يد الملك عبدالعزيز بن عبدالرحمن آل سعود -رحمه الله-، وسارت عليه قيادتها الحكيمة، وصولاً إلى هذا العهد الزاهر، حيث تواصل المملكة تسخير جميع إمكاناتها لخدمة الحرمين الشريفين والعناية بقاصديهما.
جاء ذلك خلال رعايته حفل افتتاح أعمال منتدى العمرة والزيارة في نسخته الثالثة، بحضور وزير الحج والعمرة الدكتور توفيق بن فوزان الربيعة، الذي تنظمه الوزارة بالشراكة مع برنامج خدمة ضيوف الرحمن، في مركز الملك سلمان الدولي للمؤتمرات، خلال الفترة من 30 مارس حتى 1 أبريل 2026.
وأوضح أمير منطقة المدينة المنورة أن المنتدى يأتي امتداداً لعناية هذه البلاد المباركة بقيادة خادم الحرمين الشريفين الملك سلمان بن عبدالعزيز، وولي العهد رئيس مجلس الوزراء الأمير محمد بن سلمان، في إطار حرص الدولة المستمر على تعزيز خدمات ضيوف الرحمن.
وأشار أمير منطقة المدينة المنورة إلى أن تجربة المعتمر والزائر لا تقتصر على أداء الشعيرة، بل يمتد أثرها لتكون رحلة متكاملة ثرية بالمعاني، ومتصلة بجذور هذا الدين العظيم، وبعمق الحضارة الإسلامية التي انطلقت من هذه الأرض المباركة، لذلك تتكامل الجهود لتطوير الخدمات وتحسين جودتها، وإثراء تجربة ضيوف الرحمن، من خلال مشاريع نوعية، وشراكات فاعلة، وتوظيف متقدم للتقنيات، وفي مقدمتها تقنيات الذكاء الاصطناعي، بما يسهم في تقديم تجربة ميسّرة وآمنة وملهمة.
وبيّن أن المنتدى يكتسب أهمية متزايدة بوصفه منصة عالمية تجمع الخبراء والمهتمين والمستثمرين لتبادل الخبرات، وبحث الفرص، واستشراف مستقبل قطاع العمرة والزيارة، بما يعزز تكامل الجهود، ويرتقي بمستوى الخدمات، ويحقق مستهدفات رؤية المملكة 2030.
وأوضح الأمير سلمان بن سلطان، أن التطور المتسارع في منظومة خدمات العمرة والزيارة يعكس التزام المملكة برسالتها الدينية والإنسانية، وحرصها على أن تبقى تجربة ضيوف الرحمن نموذجاً يُحتذى في الجودة والتنظيم.
وأعرب الأمير سلمان بن سلطان عن شكره لوزير الحج والعمرة، وجميع منسوبي الوزارة، والجهات المشاركة، على جهودهم الكبيرة والمتواصلة لتنمية هذا القطاع المهم، داعياً المولى أن يجزيهم الأجر والمثوبة والتوفيق.
وفي جولة على المعرض المصاحب، اطّلع أمير منطقة المدينة المنورة على أجنحة المعرض المصاحب لفعاليات المنتدى المُقام تحت شعار «تاريخ يُروى في كل محطة»، ويضم 150 عارضاً من الجهات الحكومية، وشركات تقديم الخدمة، والمنظمات غير الربحية.
وخلال الحفل، ألقى وزير الحج والعمرة كلمة قال فيها إن خادم الحرمين الشريفين، وولي عهده الأمين، يوليان الحرمين الشريفين وقاصديهما عناية قصوى، مبيناً أنه بدعم وتمكين القيادة تجاوزت أعداد المعتمرين من الخارج 18 مليون معتمر بنسبة نمو بلغت 214% بين 2022 و2025، فيما ارتفعت نسبة رضى المعتمرين لتصل إلى 94% خلال 2025.
وأشار إلى أنه في المسجد النبوي الشريف تضاعفت الطاقة الاستيعابية لزيارة الروضة الشريفة ليصل عدد زوارها إلى أكثر من 15.6 مليون زائر خلال العام الماضي، فيما ارتفع عدد المواقع والوجهات التاريخية والإثرائية التي تم تطويرها إلى 87 موقعاً ووجهة.
وفي مجال التحول الرقمي، كشف وزير الحج والعمرة أن عدد مستخدمي تطبيق «نُسك» تجاوز 51 مليون مستخدم حول العالم، مشيراً إلى إطلاق عدد من الشراكات مع منصات السفر العالمية، التي أسهمت في تيسير التخطيط لقدوم المعتمرين، وتوسيع خياراتهم.
وفي ظل ما تشهده المنطقة من أحداث، قال وزير الحج والعمرة: «أثبتت منظومة خدمة ضيوف الرحمن جاهزيتها العالية في التعامل مع التغيرات الطارئة، إذ عملت وزارة الحج والعمرة، بالتعاون مع الهيئة العامة للطيران المدني والجهات المعنية، عبر غرفة عمليات خاصة، على حل جميع التحديات، وتقديم الخدمات كافة للمعتمرين، بما يضمن راحتهم وسلامتهم».
عقب ذلك، شاهد الحضور عرضاً مرئياً عن المنتدى، استعرض ملامح الرحلة الإيمانية للمسلمين من حول العالم إلى أطهر الأماكن، مبرزاً دور منظومة العمرة والزيارة في الارتقاء بهذه التجربة وإيصال رسالتها إلى العالم أجمع.
ثم دشّن أمير منطقة المدينة المنورة المشروع العلمي لدارة الملك عبدالعزيز المتمثل في «الأطلس التاريخي للسيرة النبوية»، الذي يهدف إلى توثيق السيرة النبوية بأحدث التقنيات المتقدمة، ثم شاهد الحضور عرضاً مرئياً عن الأطلس.
تلا ذلك عرض فيلم منتدى العمرة والزيارة، استعرض مسيرة المنتدى وأثره، مسلطاً الضوء على الجهود المبذولة للارتقاء بتجربة المعتمرين والزوار.
فيما دشّن أمير منطقة المدينة المنورة مشروع إطلاق أسماء الأحياء والشوارع والدروب والجادات في مشروع «رؤى المدينة»، لينسجم مع الفلسفة التخطيطية للمشروع، وتعتمد أسماء موثقة تاريخياً، بما يعكس القيم الثقافية، ويحافظ على الهوية والتراث الحضري ضمن تجربة عمرانية عصرية قرب المسجد النبوي الشريف.
ثم شاهد الحضور عرضاً مرئياً عن المشروع المستوحى من تراث المدينة وتاريخها، وتشمل قائمة الأسماء أربع مناطق تاريخية تحمل مسميات ارتبطت بقبائل سكنت هذه المنطقة، وهي؛ بنو عبد الأشهل، وبنو معاوية، وبنو ظفر، وبنو مازن، التي تتوزع فيها تسعة أحياء، منها (حي النعيم، والعدل، والأنصار، والرحمة، وغيرها)، إضافة إلى خمس جادات تضم 40 شارعاً ودرباً.
بعد ذلك، شهد أمير منطقة المدينة المنورة توقيع عدد من الاتفاقيات ومذكرات التفاهم بين وزارة الحج والعمرة وعدد من الجهات ذات العلاقة بمنظومة العمرة والزيارة، كما سلّم جوائز منتدى العمرة والزيارة، التي تُمنح للجهات المتميزة في القطاع، إضافة إلى تسليم جوائز شركات العمرة والوكلاء الخارجيين.
وفي ختام الحفل، كرّم أمير منطقة المدينة المنورة شركاء النجاح من الجهات الداعمة والمساهمة؛ تقديراً لأدوارهم في إنجاح المنتدى، وتعزيز مسيرته بوصفه منصة عالمية تسهم في رسم ملامح مستقبل العمرة والزيارة.
The Emir of the Medina region, Prince Salman bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, confirmed that the honor of serving pilgrims, Umrah performers, and visitors has never been a transient responsibility; rather, it is a steadfast approach upon which this country has been built since its unification by King Abdulaziz bin Abdulrahman Al Saud – may God have mercy on him – and has been followed by its wise leadership, leading to this prosperous era, where the Kingdom continues to harness all its capabilities to serve the Two Holy Mosques and care for those who visit them.
This was stated during his patronage of the opening ceremony of the third edition of the Umrah and Visit Forum, attended by the Minister of Hajj and Umrah, Dr. Tawfiq bin Fawzan Al-Rabiah, which is organized by the ministry in partnership with the Guests of Rahman Service Program, at the King Salman International Conference Center, from March 30 to April 1, 2026.
The Emir of the Medina region explained that the forum comes as an extension of this blessed country’s care under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, and the Crown Prince, Prime Minister Prince Mohammed bin Salman, within the framework of the state’s continuous commitment to enhance the services for the Guests of Rahman.
The Emir of the Medina region pointed out that the experience of the Umrah performer and visitor is not limited to performing the rituals; rather, its impact extends to be a comprehensive journey rich in meanings, connected to the roots of this great religion, and to the depth of the Islamic civilization that originated from this blessed land. Therefore, efforts are integrated to develop services, improve their quality, and enrich the experience of the Guests of Rahman through qualitative projects, effective partnerships, and advanced employment of technologies, foremost among them artificial intelligence technologies, contributing to providing a facilitated, safe, and inspiring experience.
He indicated that the forum gains increasing importance as a global platform that brings together experts, interested parties, and investors to exchange experiences, explore opportunities, and envision the future of the Umrah and visit sector, enhancing the integration of efforts, elevating service levels, and achieving the objectives of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.
Prince Salman bin Sultan clarified that the rapid development in the Umrah and visit services system reflects the Kingdom’s commitment to its religious and humanitarian message, and its keenness to ensure that the experience of the Guests of Rahman remains a model to be emulated in quality and organization.
He expressed his gratitude to the Minister of Hajj and Umrah, all ministry staff, and participating entities for their significant and ongoing efforts to develop this important sector, praying that God rewards them with goodness, merit, and success.
During a tour of the accompanying exhibition, the Emir of the Medina region reviewed the pavilions of the exhibition held under the slogan “A History Told at Every Station,” featuring 150 exhibitors from government entities, service companies, and non-profit organizations.
During the ceremony, the Minister of Hajj and Umrah delivered a speech stating that the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and his trustworthy Crown Prince give utmost care to the Two Holy Mosques and their visitors, indicating that with the support and empowerment of the leadership, the number of Umrah performers from abroad has exceeded 18 million, with a growth rate of 214% between 2022 and 2025, while the satisfaction rate of Umrah performers reached 94% in 2025.
He noted that at the Prophet’s Mosque, the capacity for visiting the Noble Rawdah has doubled, reaching over 15.6 million visitors last year, while the number of historical and enriching sites developed has risen to 87 locations and destinations.
In the field of digital transformation, the Minister of Hajj and Umrah revealed that the number of users of the “Nusk” application has surpassed 51 million users worldwide, pointing out the launch of several partnerships with global travel platforms that have facilitated planning for the arrival of Umrah performers and expanded their options.
In light of the events taking place in the region, the Minister of Hajj and Umrah stated: “The Guests of Rahman service system has proven its high readiness to deal with sudden changes, as the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, in cooperation with the General Authority of Civil Aviation and relevant entities, has worked through a special operations room to address all challenges and provide all services to Umrah performers, ensuring their comfort and safety.”
Following that, the attendees watched a visual presentation about the forum, showcasing the features of the faith journey for Muslims from around the world to the holiest places, highlighting the role of the Umrah and visit system in enhancing this experience and conveying its message to the entire world.
Then, the Emir of the Medina region launched the scientific project of the King Abdulaziz Foundation represented in the “Historical Atlas of the Prophetic Biography,” which aims to document the Prophetic biography using the latest advanced technologies, after which the attendees watched a visual presentation about the atlas.
This was followed by a presentation of a film about the Umrah and Visit Forum, showcasing the forum’s journey and impact, highlighting the efforts made to elevate the experience of Umrah performers and visitors.
Meanwhile, the Emir of the Medina region launched the project to name neighborhoods, streets, paths, and avenues in the “City Visions” project, aligning with the planning philosophy of the project, relying on historically documented names that reflect cultural values and preserve identity and urban heritage within a modern urban experience near the Prophet’s Mosque.
Then, the attendees watched a visual presentation about the project inspired by the heritage and history of the city, which includes a list of names from four historical areas associated with tribes that inhabited this region: Banu Abdul Ashhal, Banu Muawiya, Banu Dhafar, and Banu Mazen, which are distributed across nine neighborhoods, including (Al-Naeem, Al-Adl, Al-Ansar, Al-Rahma, and others), in addition to five avenues comprising 40 streets and paths.
After that, the Emir of the Medina region witnessed the signing of several agreements and memorandums of understanding between the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah and several relevant entities within the Umrah and visit system, as well as the presentation of awards for the Umrah and Visit Forum, which are granted to outstanding entities in the sector, in addition to awarding Umrah companies and foreign agents.
At the end of the ceremony, the Emir of the Medina region honored the partners of success from the supporting and contributing entities; in appreciation of their roles in the success of the forum and enhancing its journey as a global platform that contributes to shaping the future of Umrah and visit.
