التقى سفير خادم الحرمين الشريفين لدى المملكة المتحدة وإيرلندا الشمالية الأمير عبدالله بن خالد بن سلطان بن عبدالعزيز، في مقر جامعة (UCL) بلندن مساء أمس، عددًا من الطلبة المبتعثين في بريطانيا، بحضور الملحق الثقافي لدى المملكة المتحدة الدكتورة مشاعل السلامة.
وألقى الأمير عبدالله بن خالد بن سلطان خلال اللقاء الضوء على العلاقات الثقافية والأكاديمية بين المملكة العربية السعودية، والمملكة المتحدة، مستعرضًا آفاق تطويرها، إضافةً إلى تسليط الضوء على مستقبل الطلبة المبتعثين ودورهم في دعم مسيرة التنمية، مؤكدًا أهمية الاستثمار في الكفاءات الوطنية وتعزيز حضورها في مختلف المجالات العلمية والمعرفية.
وشهد اللقاء تفاعلًا من الطلبة، حيث أُتيحت لهم فرصة طرح الأسئلة والاستفسارات، ومناقشة عدد من الموضوعات ذات الصلة بتجربتهم التعليمية ومستقبلهم الأكاديمي والمهني، في حوار مباشر مع السفير.
The Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland, Prince Abdullah bin Khalid bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, met yesterday evening at the University College London (UCL) with a number of Saudi students studying in the UK, in the presence of the Cultural Attaché to the United Kingdom, Dr. Mashail Al-Salama.
During the meeting, Prince Abdullah bin Khalid bin Sultan highlighted the cultural and academic relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United Kingdom, reviewing prospects for their development, in addition to emphasizing the future of the scholarship students and their role in supporting the development process. He stressed the importance of investing in national talents and enhancing their presence in various scientific and knowledge fields.
The meeting witnessed interaction from the students, as they were given the opportunity to ask questions and inquiries, and discuss several topics related to their educational experience and their academic and professional future, in a direct dialogue with the ambassador.
