في خطوة جديدة تعيد تسليط الضوء على واحدة من أكثر الكوارث البحرية مأساوية في المنطقة، كشف المؤلف السعودي محمد آل مشوط، الناجي من حادثة غرق عبارة السلام 98، عن آخر تطورات مشروعه الفني الذي يحمل نفس اسم الحادث المرتقب بالتعاون مع الفنان السعودي ناصر الدوسري.
مشروع فني قيد التحضير
وأكد آل مشوط في منشور عبر حسابه الشخصي على منصة «إكس» أن العمل ما زال في مراحله التحضيرية الأولى، ولم يتم حتى الآن توقيع أي اتفاق رسمي مع منصات العرض، رغم وجود اهتمام من عدد من الجهات ولكن لم يحسم الاختيار بعد.
رؤية إخراجية عالمية
وأوضح أن المشروع سينفذ برؤية إخراجية سعودية مدعومة بخبرة مخرج عالمي، في محاولة لتقديم تجربة إنتاجية ذات طابع سينمائي يوازي الأعمال الكبرى عالميًا.
ومن المنتظر أن يجسد الفنان ناصر الدوسري شخصية المؤلف محمد آل مشوط داخل العمل، وذلك بعد إشارات من الأخير حول وجود تشابه بينهما، وهو ما زاد من حالة الترقب لدى الجمهور لمعرفة طبيعة الشخصية وتفاصيل الدور.
قصة مستوحاة من حادث حقيقي
ويستند الفيلم إلى وقائع حقيقية مستوحاة من حادث غرق العبارة عام 2006 في البحر الأحمر أثناء رحلتها من ضبا في السعودية إلى سفاجا في مصر، والذي يعد من أسوأ الكوارث البحرية التي شهدتها المنطقة.
In a new step that sheds light on one of the most tragic maritime disasters in the region, Saudi author Mohammed Al-Mashoot, a survivor of the sinking of the ferry Al-Salam 98, revealed the latest developments of his artistic project bearing the same name as the anticipated incident in collaboration with Saudi artist Nasser Al-Dosari.
An Artistic Project in Preparation
Al-Mashoot confirmed in a post on his personal account on the “X” platform that the work is still in its initial preparatory stages, and no official agreements have been signed with any exhibition platforms yet, despite interest from several parties, but the selection has not been finalized.
A Global Directorial Vision
He explained that the project will be executed with a Saudi directorial vision supported by the experience of a global director, in an attempt to present a production experience with a cinematic character that rivals major works globally.
It is expected that artist Nasser Al-Dosari will portray the character of author Mohammed Al-Mashoot within the work, following hints from the latter about a resemblance between them, which has increased the audience’s anticipation to learn about the nature of the character and the details of the role.
A Story Inspired by a True Incident
The film is based on true events inspired by the sinking of the ferry in 2006 in the Red Sea during its journey from Dhuba in Saudi Arabia to Safaga in Egypt, which is considered one of the worst maritime disasters the region has witnessed.
