أبدى عدد من الإعلاميين استياءهم الشديد من «ملتقى عسير للإعلام الرياضي» الذي شهده نادي أبها الرياضي، وحضره عدد من الإعلاميين والمهتمين في الشأن الرياضي، لعدم تحقيق الأهداف المنشودة من إقامته وغياب المتحدثين الذين تم الإعلان عنهم في برنامج الملتقى، الذي اقتصر على تواجد مدير المركز الإعلامي للنادي المستضيف، في حين غابت مشاركات ومداخلات ممثلي المراكز الإعلامية لأندية المنطقة. «عكاظ» التقت بدورها بعدد من الإعلاميين الذين أبدوا استياءهم نتيجة عدم الخروج بنتائج إيجابية، وتحقيق أهداف كانوا يأملون أن تتحقق خلال إقامة الملتقى الرياضي.
غياب الأهداف
ففي البداية اتفق حسن القبيسي، وزميله عبدالرحمن أبو محروس، على أن فكرة الملتقى بادرة إيجابية ولكنها لم تحقق الأهداف المأمولة، حيث قال القبيسي: «الدعوة الموجهة لنا أشارت إلى حضور عدد من ممثلي المراكز الإعلامية بالأندية الرياضية ولكن عند الحضور، لم نجد سوى مدير المركز الإعلامي للنادي المستضيف، في حين غابت مشاركات ومداخلات ممثلي المراكز الإعلامية لأندية المنطقة، مما أفقد الملتقى جانباً مهماً من التنوع، وتبادل الخبرات التي كنا ننتظرها في هذه الفعالية، ولكن ننتظر القادم». وأضاف زميله أبو محروس:«لم يتضمن الملتقى ورش عمل متخصصة، ولا استضافة شخصيات إعلامية مخضرمة لتقديم حوارات أو جلسات تعليمية وتفاعلية، إضافة إلى محدودية المساحة المخصصة للنقاش وتبادل الآراء وموقع إقامته غير مناسب»، مطالباً المنظمين بتعزيز محتوى الملتقى في المرات القادمة وتوفير بيئة أكثر ملاءمة واحترافية.
خيبة أمل
من جانبه قال الإعلامي حسين آل شجاع: «كان هناك تطلع أكبر من الإعلاميين لأن يخرج الملتقى بمبادرات ونتائج وخطوات عملية جادة تخدم الإعلام الرياضي في عسير بشكل مباشر، وتعمل على تطوير الفرص المهنية، وتعزز حضورها بما يتناسب مع مكانة المنطقة الرياضية والإعلامية». فيما قال الإعلامي سعيد آل هطلاء: «الملتقى لم يحتو على نقاشات أو حوارات إعلامية مفيدة، وكان هدفه فقط التحدث عن نادي أبها وصعوده، ولم يتطرق إلى دور الأندية وما هو المطلوب منها». وأضاف: «أغلبية الحضور لا ينتمون للإعلام الرياضي، ولم يكن هناك متحدثون في مجال الرياضة، وكان ملتقى تنقصه المهنية الرياضية بشكل كبير، فيما خيب الآمال في التنظيم المتواضع جداً»، وتساءل قائلاً:«لماذا لم يكن هناك دعوات تقدم للإعلاميين الرياضيين، وإعطاؤهم فرص حضور تدريبات فريق أبها قبل المباريات الكبيرة، واستضافتهم من فترة لأخرى للاطلاع على إنجازات النادي خلال الموسم الرياضي».
الراقدي يدافع
ودافع مدير المركز الإعلامي بنادي أبها الرياضي الوليد الراقدي عن الملتقى الذي تم تنظيمه، وقال: «نود الإيضاح بأن دورنا كان مقتصرا على الاستضافة في النادي، فيما تعود الجوانب التنظيمية وبرنامج الملتقى، للجهة المنظمة والمتطوعين المشكورين في الملتقى». وأضاف: «جميع الإعلاميين محل تقدير واحترام، ونتشرف باستضافتهم دائماً، ونسعد بأي ملاحظات تُسهم في تطوير مثل هذه الملتقيات مستقبلاً، وسيتم إبلاغ ذلك لمنظمي الملتقى».
A number of media professionals expressed their strong dissatisfaction with the “Asir Forum for Sports Media,” which took place at Abha Sports Club and was attended by several journalists and those interested in sports affairs. They were disappointed that the desired objectives of the event were not achieved and that the speakers announced in the forum’s program were absent, with only the director of the media center of the hosting club present. Meanwhile, the contributions and interventions from representatives of the media centers of the region’s clubs were missing. “Okaz” met with several journalists who expressed their discontent due to the lack of positive outcomes and the realization of goals they had hoped would be achieved during the sports forum.
Absence of Objectives
Initially, Hassan Al-Qubaisi and his colleague Abdulrahman Abu Mahrous agreed that the idea of the forum was a positive initiative but did not meet the hoped-for objectives. Al-Qubaisi stated: “The invitation directed to us indicated the attendance of several representatives from the media centers of sports clubs, but upon arrival, we found only the director of the media center of the hosting club. The contributions and interventions from representatives of the media centers of the region’s clubs were absent, which deprived the forum of an important aspect of diversity and the exchange of experiences that we were expecting from this event. However, we look forward to the future.” His colleague Abu Mahrous added: “The forum did not include specialized workshops, nor did it host experienced media personalities to present discussions or educational and interactive sessions. Additionally, the limited space allocated for discussion and the location of the event were not suitable,” calling on the organizers to enhance the content of the forum in future editions and to provide a more suitable and professional environment.
Disappointment
For his part, journalist Hussein Al-Shuja said: “There was a greater expectation from the media professionals that the forum would result in initiatives, outcomes, and serious practical steps that directly serve sports media in Asir and work on developing professional opportunities, enhancing their presence in line with the region’s sports and media status.” Meanwhile, journalist Saeed Al-Hatlai stated: “The forum did not contain useful discussions or media dialogues, and its goal was only to talk about Abha Club and its promotion, without addressing the role of clubs and what is required from them.” He added: “The majority of the attendees do not belong to sports media, and there were no speakers in the field of sports. The forum lacked sports professionalism significantly and fell short in its very modest organization.” He questioned: “Why were there no invitations extended to sports journalists, and why weren’t they given opportunities to attend Abha team’s training sessions before major matches and to be hosted periodically to learn about the club’s achievements during the sports season?”
Al-Raqidi Defends
The director of the media center at Abha Sports Club, Walid Al-Raqidi, defended the organized forum, stating: “We would like to clarify that our role was limited to hosting at the club, while the organizational aspects and the forum’s program belong to the organizing body and the volunteers who are appreciated for their efforts in the forum.” He added: “All journalists are valued and respected, and we are honored to host them always. We welcome any feedback that contributes to the development of such forums in the future, and this will be communicated to the forum’s organizers.”
