غيَّب الموت اليوم (الإثنين) الفنان الموسيقي السعودي عبدالله القرني، وخيّم الحزن على الوسط الفني بعد إعلان وفاته، إثر دخوله في غيبوبة مفاجئة أثناء وجوده في العاصمة المصرية القاهرة، لتنتهي بذلك مسيرة فنية ترك خلالها بصمة بارزة في الأغنية الخليجية والتراثية.
وعُرف الراحل بأخلاقه الرفيعة وعلاقاته الإنسانية الواسعة، إلى جانب موهبته الفنية التي صقلها بالدراسة الأكاديمية للموسيقى، ومشاركته في الإشراف والتنفيذ الموسيقي للعديد من الأعمال الفنية.
عايض القرني ينعى ابن عمه
ونعى الشيخ الدكتور عايض القرني الراحل عبر حسابه في منصة «X»، قائلاً: «توفي ابن عمي وأخي العزيز الغالي عبدالله بن سعيد بن عايض آل مجدوع القرني، اليوم الإثنين 7 / 1 / 1448هـ، غفر الله له ولجميع المسلمين والمسلمات، ورحمه وأسكنه فسيح جناته، وألهم أهله الصبر والسلوان، وإنا لله وإنا إليه راجعون».
كما عبّر عدد من الفنانين والمقربين عن حزنهم لرحيله، إذ كتب المخرج فيصل يماني: «الله يرحمك يا حبيبي يا عبدالله ويغفر لك، والله إنك كنت أحب الناس إلى قلبي وأقربهم، كيف الحياة من بعدك يا صاحبي».
وكشف الإعلامي فواز المالحي عبر حسابه على منصة «إكس» أن وفاة الفنان عبدالله القرني جاءت بعد دخوله في غيبوبة مفاجئة أثناء وجوده في القاهرة.
وأشار المالحي إلى أن الراحل يُعد من المواهب الفنية التي برزت منذ عام 2005، قبل أن يحقق شهرة واسعة من خلال مشاركته في برنامج نجوم الخليج، حيث قدم الأغنية الشهيرة «غابت ثمان سنين». وأضاف أن القرني حرص على صقل موهبته بالدراسة الأكاديمية للموسيقى، إلى جانب عمله في الإشراف والتنفيذ الموسيقي للعديد من الأعمال الفنية، لافتاً إلى ما عُرف عنه من دماثة الخلق وحسن التعامل واحترام الجميع.
واختتم المالحي نعيه بالدعاء للراحل بالرحمة والمغفرة، وأن يلهم الله أسرته ومحبيه الصبر والسلوان
«نجوم الخليج» بوابة الشهرة
بدأ عبدالله القرني حضوره الفني منذ منتصف العقد الأول من الألفية الجديدة، قبل أن يحقق انطلاقته الكبرى بفوزه بلقب برنامج نجوم الخليج عام 2007، بعد منافسة قوية لفت خلالها الأنظار بصوته وأدائه المميز، ليحصد إعجاب الجمهور ولجنة التحكيم.
وكان من أبرز الأعمال التي ارتبط بها الجمهور أغنية «غابت ثمان سنين»، التي أسهمت في ترسيخ اسمه بين الأصوات الشابة الواعدة في الساحة الفنية الخليجية.
مسيرة فنية بين الغناء والتلحين
واصل القرني حضوره الفني بعد البرنامج من خلال عدد من الأغنيات والأعمال الوطنية والتراثية، من بينها «حبوه»، و«يا سلام عليكم يا السعودية»، و«عاشت بلادي»، كما شارك في أوبريتات وطنية وفنية عدة، بينها «راية وغاية» و«عشق أبها» و«خليج الخير والمحبة».
وبرز كذلك كملحن وعازف محترف على العود والبيانو، وأسهم في إنتاج وتنفيذ أعمال موسيقية متنوعة، كما شارك في مهرجانات وفعاليات فنية داخل المملكة وخارجها، وعُرف بحرصه على المحافظة على اللون الطربي الأصيل مع تقديمه بروح معاصرة.
موهبة صنعت حضورها رغم التحديات
واجه الفنان الراحل خلال مسيرته تحديات عدة، من بينها فترات غياب فرضتها بعض الالتزامات التعاقدية، إلا أنه حافظ على حضوره الفني وتمسك بخطه الغنائي الخاص، ما أكسبه تقدير جمهور الأغنية الخليجية ومحبي الفن التراثي.
وبرحيل عبدالله القرني تفقد الساحة الفنية السعودية أحد الأصوات التي تركت أثراً في الأغنية الشعبية والطربية، فيما تتواصل عبارات الرثاء والدعاء له بالرحمة والمغفرة من محبيه وزملائه.
Today (Monday), the Saudi musical artist Abdullah Al-Qarni passed away, and sadness has enveloped the artistic community following the announcement of his death, after he entered a sudden coma while in the Egyptian capital, Cairo, thus ending an artistic career that left a significant mark on Gulf and traditional music.
The late artist was known for his high morals and wide human relationships, in addition to his artistic talent, which he honed through academic study of music and his participation in the supervision and musical execution of many artistic works.
Ayed Al-Qarni mourns his cousin
Sheikh Dr. Ayed Al-Qarni mourned the deceased through his account on the “X” platform, saying: “My cousin and dear brother Abdullah bin Saeed bin Ayed Al-Majdou’ Al-Qarni passed away today, Monday, 7 / 1 / 1448 AH. May God forgive him and all Muslims, and have mercy on him and grant him a spacious abode in Paradise, and may He grant his family patience and solace. Indeed, we belong to God and to Him we shall return.”
Several artists and close friends also expressed their sorrow over his passing, as director Faisal Yamani wrote: “May God have mercy on you, my dear Abdullah, and forgive you. You were truly one of the dearest people to my heart and the closest to me. How is life after you, my friend?”
Media personality Fawaz Al-Malhi revealed through his account on the “X” platform that the death of artist Abdullah Al-Qarni came after he entered a sudden coma while in Cairo.
Al-Malhi pointed out that the late artist is considered one of the artistic talents that emerged since 2005, before achieving widespread fame through his participation in the Gulf Stars program, where he presented the famous song “Eight Years Have Passed.” He added that Al-Qarni was keen to refine his talent through academic study of music, in addition to his work in the supervision and musical execution of many artistic works, noting his well-known demeanor and respect for everyone.
Al-Malhi concluded his eulogy with a prayer for the deceased for mercy and forgiveness, and that God grants his family and loved ones patience and solace.
“Gulf Stars” as a gateway to fame
Abdullah Al-Qarni began his artistic presence in the mid-2000s, before achieving his major breakthrough by winning the title of the Gulf Stars program in 2007, after a strong competition that drew attention with his voice and distinctive performance, earning him the admiration of the audience and the judging panel.
One of the most notable works associated with the audience was the song “Eight Years Have Passed,” which helped establish his name among the promising young voices in the Gulf artistic scene.
An artistic journey between singing and composing
Al-Qarni continued his artistic presence after the program through a number of songs and national and heritage works, including “Habouh,” “O Saudi Arabia, Greetings to You,” and “My Country Lives.” He also participated in several national and artistic operettas, including “Banner and Purpose,” “Love of Abha,” and “Gulf of Goodness and Love.”
He also stood out as a composer and a professional player on the oud and piano, contributing to the production and execution of various musical works. He participated in festivals and artistic events both inside and outside the Kingdom, and was known for his commitment to preserving the authentic musical style while presenting it with a contemporary spirit.
A talent that made its presence felt despite challenges
The late artist faced several challenges during his career, including periods of absence imposed by certain contractual obligations. However, he maintained his artistic presence and adhered to his unique musical style, earning him the appreciation of the Gulf music audience and lovers of traditional art.
With the passing of Abdullah Al-Qarni, the Saudi artistic scene loses one of the voices that left an impact on popular and traditional music, while expressions of mourning and prayers for mercy and forgiveness continue from his fans and colleagues.
