تتعلق المسألة بثلاثة شبان إسرائيليين ينتمون لبدو النقب، جرى توقيفهم عند معبر طابا أثناء عودتهم من رحلة سياحية، ليختفوا داخل مسار تحقيقي أمني تجاوز ستة أشهر، دون أن تصدر عن السلطات المصرية إيضاحات رسمية تروي غليل الاستفسارات الإسرائيلية المتكررة.
الكشف الأول عن هويات الثلاثة (بليال مسعودين الوليدي، وبلال الأفشق، وأحمد أدوجي) جاء عبر الخارجية الإسرائيلية، التي تلقت إشارات صريحة مفادها أن الاحتجاز لا يرتبط ببدائل جنائية أو مخالفات حدودية اعتيادية، بل يدور حول ملفات أمنية شديدة الحساسية تخص الأمن القومي المصري في شبه جزيرة سيناء.
وفيما تتحرك أسر المحتجزين على أعلى المستويات السياسية في إسرائيل بالتحالف مع قيادات قانونية، جاءت الردود الرسمية من مكتب رئيس الوزراء بنيامين نتنياهو ووزارة الخارجية مقتضبة، ومكتفية بعبارة تقليدية: «الملف قيد المعالجة المباشرة».
ويأتي هذا التكتم المصري وسط تعزيزات وتدابير مشددة تفرضها القاهرة على كافة منافذها الحدودية، مؤكدة أن اعتبارات سيادة الحدود وحماية أمنها القومي تظل فوق أي اعتبارات أخرى.

The issue concerns three Israeli youths belonging to the Bedouins of the Negev, who were detained at the Taba crossing while returning from a tourist trip, disappearing into a security investigation that has exceeded six months, without any official clarifications from the Egyptian authorities to satisfy the repeated Israeli inquiries.
The first disclosure of the identities of the three (Bilyal Masoudin Al-Walidi, Bilal Al-Afshaq, and Ahmad Adouji) came through the Israeli Foreign Ministry, which received clear signals indicating that the detention is not related to criminal alternatives or ordinary border violations, but revolves around highly sensitive security files concerning Egyptian national security in the Sinai Peninsula.
While the families of the detainees are moving at the highest political levels in Israel in alliance with legal leaders, the official responses from Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office and the Foreign Ministry were brief, limited to the traditional phrase: “The file is under direct processing.”
This Egyptian secrecy comes amid reinforcements and strict measures imposed by Cairo on all its border crossings, emphasizing that considerations of border sovereignty and national security remain above any other considerations.
