He added, “Mohamed Fawzy is from Tanta, and the Al-Hou family has many branches everywhere, and I am a branch of these branches. I will not respond to any insult, and the matter is not important to me.”
Meanwhile, Karim’s mother confirmed in communication with Hedy Nabil, according to the latter’s statements, that she sent a picture of her son’s national ID to prove the lineage, but emphasized that “not everyone named Al-Hou is a grandson of Fawzy.”
The Al-Hou family, for their part, denied any intention to lie, considering the statement to be “a spontaneous expression of pride in the large family,” and called for an end to the debate without escalation.
