وأوضح آسر في تصريح خاص لـ صحيفة «عكاظ» أنه يجسد بالعمل شخصيتين توأم مختلفتين تماماً في الطباع، معتبراً التجربة ممتعة رغم صعوبتها، لافتاً إلى أن الكوميديا قد تكون أحياناً أسهل من تقديم الأدوار الدرامية الثقيلة.

كما تحدث آسر عن تعاونه مع الفنانة المصرية أسماء جلال بالفيلم، مؤكداً أن هناك كيمياء فنية واضحة بينهما، وهو ما انعكس على أجواء التصوير التي وصفها بالإيجابية، خصوصاً أنهما تعاونا سابقاً في أعمال أخرى.

وأشار إلى أن الفيلم يناقش فكرة العلاقات السامة، موضحاً أن جوهرها يقوم على الأنانية والسيطرة والكذب، وهي صفات يرفضها على المستوى الإنساني.
