تبين بالفحص أن هذه التصريحات لم تكن واقعة منفردة، بل تكررت في مناسبات عدة، ما دفع البعض إلى المطالبة بمنع السراج من العمل داخل مصر.

من جانبها، أعلنت نقابة المهن التمثيلية في مصر عبر بيان صحفي أنها ستدرس الأزمة بشكل عاجل، وأكد النقيب أشرف زكي أن النقابة ستناقش الموقف في اجتماع مقرر غداً لاتخاذ القرار المناسب.

وفي المقابل، نفى محمود السراج في تصريحات صحفية صحة المنشورات المسيئة للمصريين، مؤكداً حبه لمصر وإقامته فيها، مشيراً إلى أن ما ينشر على «السوشال ميديا» لا علاقة له به، مشدداً على حبه للبلاد وإقامته فيها منذ خمس سنوات، وأن نصف أسرته يعيش في مصر.

For its part, the Actors’ Syndicate in Egypt announced through a press statement that it will urgently study the crisis, and the syndicate head Ashraf Zaki confirmed that the syndicate will discuss the situation in a meeting scheduled for tomorrow to make the appropriate decision.

In contrast, Mahmoud Al-Saraj denied in press statements the authenticity of the offensive posts about Egyptians, affirming his love for Egypt and his residence there, indicating that what is published on “social media” has nothing to do with him, emphasizing his love for the country and that he has been living there for five years, and that half of his family lives in Egypt.
