آلت جائزة الأركانة العالمية للشعر لعام 2026، في دورتها الثامنة عشرة، إلى الشعرية الفلسطينية ممثلةً في الشعراء غسان زقطان، يوسف عبدالعزيز، طاهر رياض وزهير أبو شايب، في سابقة هي الأولى من نوعها التي تُمنح فيها الجائزة لتيار شعري جماعي لا لشاعر فرد، وفق ما أقرته لجنة التحكيم في اجتماعها بالعاصمة المغربية الرباط.
وأجمعت لجنة التحكيم، التي ضمت نخبة من الأكاديميين والشعراء من بيت الشعر في المغرب وشركائه، على تتويج الشعرية الفلسطينية، تقديراً لتنوعها وتكامل تجاربها داخل أفق إبداعي واحد، بما يعكس حضورها المؤثر في المشهد الشعري العربي المعاصر، ويعزز مكانتها كأحد أبرز التيارات الشعرية.
وتكوّنت لجنة التحكيم من الشاعرة وفاء العمراني رئيساً، وعضوية كل من الأكاديمي عبدالرحمن طنكول، والفنان التشكيلي أحمد جاريد، والأكاديمي جمال الدين بنحيون، والشاعر والمترجم نور الدين الزويتني، والشاعر حسن نجمي، الأمين العام للجائزة.
ومن المقرر أن يتسلّم الشعراء الفائزون القيمة المالية للجائزة، إضافة إلى درع الأركانة وشهادتها التقديرية، خلال حفل رسمي يُقام في 25 أبريل 2026 بمتحف محمد السادس للفنون المعاصرة في الرباط، ضمن فعاليات اختيار المدينة عاصمة عالمية للكتاب.
The 2026 Global Arkan Award for Poetry, in its eighteenth edition, has been awarded to Palestinian poetry represented by poets Ghassan Zaqtan, Youssef Abdulaziz, Taha Riyad, and Zuhair Abu Shaib. This marks a first-of-its-kind occasion where the award is given to a collective poetic movement rather than an individual poet, as confirmed by the jury during their meeting in the Moroccan capital, Rabat.
The jury, which included a selection of academics and poets from the House of Poetry in Morocco and its partners, unanimously agreed to honor Palestinian poetry, recognizing its diversity and the integration of its experiences within a single creative horizon. This reflects its impactful presence in the contemporary Arab poetic scene and enhances its status as one of the most prominent poetic movements.
The jury was composed of poet Wafa Al-Omrani as president, along with members including academic Abdulrahman Tankoul, visual artist Ahmed Jarid, academic Jamal Al-Din Benhayoun, poet and translator Nour Al-Din Al-Zwaitni, and poet Hassan Najmi, the secretary-general of the award.
The winning poets are set to receive the monetary value of the award, in addition to the Arkan trophy and its certificate of appreciation, during an official ceremony to be held on April 25, 2026, at the Mohammed VI Museum of Contemporary Art in Rabat, as part of the events marking the city’s selection as a World Capital of Books.
