صدر أمر سامٍ كريم بتعيين وزير الدولة عضو مجلس الوزراء المهندس خالد عبدالعزيز الفالح وزيراً مختصاً وفق نظام مهنة المحاسبة والمراجعة وتنظيم الهيئة السعودية للمراجعين والمحاسبين، بما يترتب عليه توليه رئاسة مجلس إدارة الهيئة.
ورفع الفالح شكره وامتنانه لخادم الحرمين الشريفين الملك سلمان بن عبدالعزيز، ولولي العهد رئيس مجلس الوزراء الأمير محمد بن سلمان، على هذه الثقة الكريمة، مؤكداً عزمه العمل مع قيادات القطاع المحاسبي على تطوير المهنة وتعظيم أثرها في الاقتصاد الوطني، لتكون أحد روافد النمو وممكناته، وداعماً رئيسياً لتعزيز الثقة والشفافية في القطاع المالي وبيئة الأعمال.
وخلال زيارته لمقر الهيئة السعودية للمراجعين والمحاسبين، اطّلع الفالح على عرض تعريفي حول أدوار الهيئة التنظيمية والمهنية، ومسارات عملها في تطوير مهنة المحاسبة والمراجعة، ورفع جودة الأداء المهني، وتعزيز موثوقية القوائم والتقارير المالية، إضافة إلى جهودها في تنمية الكفاءات الوطنية،
كما التقى قيادات الهيئة، وأكد أهمية البناء على المكتسبات المتحققة، وتسريع مسارات التطوير المهني والتنظيمي، وتعزيز دور الهيئة في رفع موثوقية التقارير المالية، ودعم جودة الممارسة المهنية، وتمكين الكفاءات الوطنية بما يسهم في تعزيز مكانة المهنة وأثرها في الاقتصاد الوطني.
A royal decree has been issued appointing the Minister of State and Member of the Council of Ministers, Engineer Khalid Abdulaziz Al-Falih, as a specialized minister according to the accounting and auditing profession system and the organization of the Saudi Authority for Auditors and Accountants, which entails his presidency of the Board of Directors of the Authority.
Al-Falih expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, and to the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, Prince Mohammed bin Salman, for this esteemed trust, affirming his determination to work with leaders in the accounting sector to develop the profession and maximize its impact on the national economy, making it one of the drivers of growth and enablers, and a key supporter of enhancing trust and transparency in the financial sector and business environment.
During his visit to the headquarters of the Saudi Authority for Auditors and Accountants, Al-Falih was briefed on an introductory presentation regarding the regulatory and professional roles of the Authority, its pathways in developing the accounting and auditing profession, raising the quality of professional performance, and enhancing the reliability of financial statements and reports, in addition to its efforts in developing national competencies.
He also met with the Authority’s leadership and emphasized the importance of building on the achieved gains, accelerating professional and regulatory development pathways, enhancing the Authority’s role in increasing the reliability of financial reports, supporting the quality of professional practice, and empowering national competencies in a way that contributes to enhancing the profession’s status and its impact on the national economy.
