لم يكتفِ ملحم زين بكلمات عامة، بل دخل مباشرة إلى صلب الملف، واصفًا القضية بأنها «فارغة»، ومؤكدًا امتلاكه خلفية تفصيلية عمّا جرى. وقال بلهجة حاسمة: «فضل شاكر ما قوّص على نملة»، في نفي قاطع لأي تورط في قضايا قتل.
هذه التصريحات أثارت تفاعلاً واسعًا على منصات التواصل، بين مؤيد يرى في موقف زين «وفاءً نادرًا»، ومعارض يعتبر تدخله مجازفة في ملف قضائي معقد تعود جذوره إلى أحداث عبرا عام 2013، المرتبطة باسم أحمد الأسير.
وفي مفاجأة لافتة، كشف زين أن أغنيته الجديدة «طلعت شمسا» هي هدية من فضل شاكر، واصفًا العمل بأنه يحمل «نكهة خاصة» كونه إهداءً من صديق يمتد عمر العلاقة معه إلى نحو 26 عامًا، أي قبل دخوله عالم الغناء.
وأكد زين أنه لا ينتظر أي مقابل من شاكر، مشددًا على أن «ثلاثة أرباع القضية فارغة» إذا ما قُرئت بإنصاف، وأن الحقيقة (برأيه) واضحة لمن اطلع على التفاصيل.

He stated emphatically: “Fadl Shaker did not shoot at an ant,” firmly denying any involvement in murder cases.
These statements sparked widespread reactions on social media, with supporters viewing Zein’s stance as “a rare loyalty,” while opponents consider his intervention a gamble in a complex legal case rooted in the events of Abra in 2013, linked to the name Ahmad al-Assir.
In a surprising revelation, Zein disclosed that his new song “Tal’at Shamsa” is a gift from Fadl Shaker, describing the work as having a “special flavor” since it is a dedication from a friend with whom he has had a relationship for about 26 years, long before entering the world of singing.
Zein confirmed that he does not expect any compensation from Shaker, emphasizing that “three-quarters of the case is empty” if read fairly, and that the truth (in his opinion) is clear to those who are aware of the details.
