سمحت وزارة البيئة والمياه والزراعة للسعوديين ممارسة الصيد باستخدام قارب لا يتجاوز طوله 20 متراً، على أن يتم ذلك خلال إجراءات نقل ملكية القارب المحددة بالنظام.
وخصصت الوزارة لهذا الغرض خدمة إلكترونية تسمح للمواطنين إصدار رخصة «صياد حرفي»، بغرض تنظيم قطاع الصيد البحري، وتمكين المواطنين من مزاولة المهنة بشكل نظامي.
واشترطت لهذا النشاط الحصول على رخصة «بحار سعودي» مضى على صدورها أكثر من 12 شهرا أو امتلاك رخصة حرفية بنظام السعودة وألا يقل عمر المتقدم عن 18 عاماً، وهوية وطنية سارية المفعول، وألا يمتلك المستفيد أي رخصة صيد أخرى غير مشطوبة في أي منطقة بالسعودية.
ومن الضوابط أيضا أن يكون المتقدم مسجلاً بمهنة صياد سمك، أو متسبب، أو متقاعد، كما سمحت للموظفين الحكوميين من المرتبة الخامسة فما دون، وموظفي القطاع الخاص براتب لا يتجاوز 6 آلاف ريال، بالاستفادة شريطة إرفاق موافقة صريحة من جهة العمل،
ونشر موقع الوزارة على منصة (x) خطوات الحصول على الرخصة. وبينت أن الخدمة الجديدة تأتي لتنظيم أنشطة الصيد للمواطنين، وتمكينهم من ممارسة مهنة الصيد بشكل قانوني وفقًا للأنظمة المعمول بها في القطاع.
The Ministry of Environment, Water, and Agriculture has allowed Saudis to practice fishing using a boat not exceeding 20 meters in length, provided that this is done during the procedures for transferring ownership of the boat as specified by the regulations.
The ministry has allocated an electronic service for this purpose, allowing citizens to issue a “Professional Fisher” license, aimed at organizing the fishing sector and enabling citizens to practice the profession legally.
It is required for this activity to obtain a “Saudi Seafarer” license that has been issued for more than 12 months or to possess a professional license under the Saudization system, and the applicant must be at least 18 years old, have a valid national ID, and not hold any other fishing license that is not canceled in any area of Saudi Arabia.
Other regulations stipulate that the applicant must be registered as a fisherman, a contributor, or a retiree. Additionally, government employees at the fifth rank or below, and private sector employees with a salary not exceeding 6,000 riyals, are allowed to benefit from this, provided they attach explicit approval from their workplace.
The ministry’s website published on the (x) platform the steps to obtain the license. It indicated that the new service comes to organize fishing activities for citizens and enable them to practice fishing legally in accordance with the applicable regulations in the sector.
