أسدلت الجزائر، اليوم (السبت)، الستار على مأساة الطفل أيوب، البالغ من العمر 10 سنوات، بعد انتشال جثمانه من بئر ارتوازية جافة في قرية الركنة ببلدية غسول، بولاية البيض، جنوبي غرب البلاد، إثر سقوطه داخلها قبل 4 أيام.
نهاية مأساوية
وأعلنت الحماية المدنية الجزائرية العثور على الطفل وانتشاله متوفى، مؤكدة في بيان أن فرق الإنقاذ سخّرت، بالتنسيق مع السلطات المحلية ومختلف الهيئات والخواص، كافة الإمكانات البشرية والمادية لإنجاح عملية البحث والإنقاذ.
وكان أيوب قد سقط، الأربعاء، داخل بئر جافة يبلغ عمقها نحو 80 متراً، فيما لا يتجاوز قطرها 40 سنتيمتراً، ما جعل عمليات الوصول إليه وانتشاله بالغة الصعوبة.
«بابا أخرجني»
وروى محمد هادف، والد الطفل، تفاصيل اللحظات الأولى للحادثة، موضحاً أن نجله سقط داخل البئر بعدما وقف على قطعة خشب مهترئة كانت تغطي فتحتها.
وقال الأب إنه عندما وصل إلى مكان سقوط أيوب، بدأ يناديه، فجاءه صوته قائلاً: «بابا أخرجني»، قبل أن يبدأ في البكاء، مضيفاً أنه حاول طمأنته بالقول: «لا تبكِ، ستأتي الحماية المدنية وتخرجك».
جهود إنقاذ متواصلة
وبدأت فرق الحماية المدنية عمليات الحفر للوصول إلى الطفل، فيما واصل أفرادها التواصل معه في محاولة للاطمئنان عليه وتهدئته، وسط صعوبة كبيرة فرضها عمق البئر وضيق قطرها.
وبعد 4 أيام من عمليات البحث والحفر، أعلنت السلطات العثور على أيوب وانتشال جثمانه، لتنتهي عمليات الإنقاذ بفاجعة هزّت المنطقة.
Algeria today (Saturday) closed the curtain on the tragedy of 10-year-old Ayoub, after recovering his body from a dry artesian well in the village of Raqna in the municipality of Ghassoul, in the Wilaya of Al-Bayadh, in the southwest of the country, following his fall into it 4 days ago.
Tragic End
The Algerian Civil Protection announced the discovery of the child and his recovery deceased, confirming in a statement that rescue teams mobilized, in coordination with local authorities and various organizations and individuals, all human and material resources to ensure the success of the search and rescue operation.
Ayoub had fallen on Wednesday into a dry well approximately 80 meters deep, with a diameter of no more than 40 centimeters, which made the operations to reach and recover him extremely difficult.
“Daddy, get me out”
Mohamed Hadif, the child’s father, recounted the details of the first moments of the incident, explaining that his son fell into the well after standing on a rotten piece of wood that was covering its opening.
The father said that when he arrived at the site of Ayoub’s fall, he began calling out to him, and he heard his voice saying: “Daddy, get me out,” before he started crying. He added that he tried to reassure him by saying: “Don’t cry, the Civil Protection will come and get you out.”
Continuous Rescue Efforts
The Civil Protection teams began excavation operations to reach the child, while their members continued to communicate with him in an attempt to reassure and calm him, amidst significant difficulties imposed by the depth of the well and its narrow diameter.
After 4 days of search and excavation operations, the authorities announced the discovery of Ayoub and the recovery of his body, bringing the rescue operations to a tragic end that shook the region.
