توقّع المركز الوطني للأرصاد استمرار هطول أمطار رعدية متوسطة إلى غزيرة، اليوم (الأحد)، على أجزاء من مناطق جازان، عسير، الباحة، مكة المكرمة، المدينة المنورة، تبوك، الجوف، والحدود الشمالية، مع استمرار فرص تكوّن السحب الرعدية الممطرة على الأجزاء الجنوبية من المنطقة الشرقية، مصحوبة بزخات من البرد ورياح نشطة مثيرة للأتربة والغبار، مع احتمالية جريان السيول، فيما تكون فرص الأمطار خفيفة إلى متوسطة على منطقة حائل.

ضباب على المناطق الساحلية

وأشار التقرير إلى استمرار فرص تكوّن الضباب خلال ساعات الليل والصباح الباكر على الأجزاء الساحلية من المنطقة الشرقية، وكذلك الأجزاء الساحلية من مناطق مكة المكرمة والمدينة المنورة وتبوك، ما قد يؤدي إلى انخفاض مدى الرؤية الأفقية.

رياح نشطة وأمواج تتجاوز مترين في البحر الأحمر

وفيما يتعلق بحالة البحر الأحمر، توقّع المركز أن تكون الرياح السطحية شمالية غربية إلى غربية على الجزء الشمالي، بسرعة تتراوح بين 12 و32 كيلومتراً في الساعة، وقد تتجاوز 50 كيلومتراً في الساعة مع تكوّن السحب الرعدية الممطرة.

أما على الجزء الأوسط، فتكون الرياح شمالية غربية إلى غربية بسرعة تتراوح بين 8 و28 كيلومتراً في الساعة، فيما تهب على الجزء الجنوبي رياح جنوبية شرقية إلى جنوبية غربية، تتحول مساءً إلى جنوبية شرقية إلى شرقية، بسرعة تتراوح بين 15 و38 كيلومتراً في الساعة، وقد تتجاوز 50 كيلومتراً في الساعة أثناء العواصف الرعدية.

ويتراوح ارتفاع الموج بين نصف متر ومتر على الجزء الأوسط، وبين نصف متر ومتر ونصف على الجزأين الشمالي والجنوبي، وقد يتجاوز مترين مع تكوّن السحب الرعدية الممطرة.

وتكون حالة البحر خفيفة الموج على الجزء الأوسط، وخفيفة إلى متوسطة الموج، قد تصل إلى مائجة، مع نشاط السحب الرعدية الممطرة على الأجزاء المتأثرة.

حالة البحر في الخليج العربي

وفي الخليج العربي، توقّع المركز أن تكون الرياح السطحية شمالية غربية إلى غربية على الجزء الشمالي، بسرعة تتراوح بين 10 و35 كيلومتراً في الساعة، وغربية إلى جنوبية غربية على الجزء الجنوبي، بسرعة تتراوح بين 10 و25 كيلومتراً في الساعة.

ويتراوح ارتفاع الموج بين نصف متر ومتر ونصف على الجزء الشمالي، وبين نصف متر ومتر على الجزء الجنوبي، فيما تكون حالة البحر خفيفة إلى متوسطة الموج شمالاً، وخفيفة الموج جنوباً.

The National Center of Meteorology expects continued rainfall, ranging from moderate to heavy, today (Sunday), over parts of the regions of Jazan, Asir, Al-Baha, Makkah, Madinah, Tabuk, Al-Jawf, and the Northern Borders, with ongoing chances of thunderstorm cloud formation in the southern parts of the Eastern Province, accompanied by hail showers and active winds stirring up dust and sand, with a possibility of flash floods. Meanwhile, the chances of rain are light to moderate in the Hail region.

Fog in Coastal Areas

The report indicated that there will continue to be chances of fog formation during the night and early morning hours over the coastal parts of the Eastern Province, as well as the coastal areas of Makkah, Madinah, and Tabuk, which may lead to reduced horizontal visibility.

Active Winds and Waves Exceeding Two Meters in the Red Sea

Regarding the condition of the Red Sea, the center predicted that the surface winds will be northwesterly to westerly in the northern part, with speeds ranging between 12 and 32 kilometers per hour, and may exceed 50 kilometers per hour with the formation of thunderstorm clouds.

In the central part, the winds will be northwesterly to westerly at speeds ranging between 8 and 28 kilometers per hour, while in the southern part, winds will be southeasterly to southwesterly, shifting in the evening to southeasterly to easterly, with speeds ranging between 15 and 38 kilometers per hour, and may exceed 50 kilometers per hour during thunderstorms.

The wave height will range between half a meter and one meter in the central part, and between half a meter and one and a half meters in the northern and southern parts, and may exceed two meters with the formation of thunderstorm clouds.

The sea condition will be slight in the central part, and slight to moderate, possibly reaching choppy, with active thunderstorm clouds affecting the areas.

Sea Condition in the Arabian Gulf

In the Arabian Gulf, the center predicted that the surface winds will be northwesterly to westerly in the northern part, with speeds ranging between 10 and 35 kilometers per hour, and westerly to southwesterly in the southern part, with speeds ranging between 10 and 25 kilometers per hour.

The wave height will range between half a meter and one and a half meters in the northern part, and between half a meter and one meter in the southern part, while the sea condition will be slight to moderate in the north, and slight in the south.
