حقق الفيلم السعودي «ضد السينما» للمؤلف والمخرج علي سعيد، جائزة لجنة التحكيم الخاصة «جائزة صلاح أبو سيف»، في عرضه العالمي الأول بمسابقة آفاق السينما العربية للأفلام الطويلة في فعاليات الدورة الـ46 من مهرجان القاهرة السينمائي الدولي.
وأكد المؤلف والمخرج السعودي علي سعيد، أن السينما السعودية في الفترة الأخيرة تشهد تطوراً ونهضة كبيرة، مشيراً إلى أن الجائزة تعكس نجاح مسار السينما السعودية.
ضد السينما
ويروي «ضد السينما» الوثائقي حكاية نشأة وتطور السينما السعودية، عبر تتبُّع جيل أطفال الثمانينات الذي أحب السينما رغم غياب صالات العرض حينها، كما يكشف ملامح الحياة السينمائية في المملكة قبل عام 1979، مستقصياً بدايات العروض ومحاولات الإنتاج الأولى، من خلال شهادات روّاد السينما السعودية، في رحلة بحثية امتدت 5 سنوات.
The Saudi film “Against Cinema,” written and directed by Ali Said, won the Special Jury Prize “Salah Abu Seif Award” during its world premiere in the Arab Cinema Horizons competition for feature films at the 46th Cairo International Film Festival.
Saudi writer and director Ali Said confirmed that Saudi cinema has recently witnessed significant development and revival, noting that the award reflects the success of the Saudi cinema path.
Against Cinema
“Against Cinema” is a documentary that narrates the story of the emergence and evolution of Saudi cinema, by tracing the generation of children from the 1980s who loved cinema despite the absence of theaters at that time. It also reveals the features of cinematic life in the Kingdom before 1979, exploring the beginnings of screenings and the first attempts at production, through the testimonies of pioneers of Saudi cinema, in a research journey that spanned 5 years.
