ضبط فرع وزارة البيئة والمياه والزراعة بمنطقة عسير، عبر لجنة الأسماك، 594 كجم، من الأسماك الفاسدة، وغير الصالحة للاستهلاك الآدمي خلال جولة ميدانية على محلات بيع الأسماك في مدينة أبها ومحافظة خميس مشيط، وذلك ضمن الجهود الرقابية الرامية إلى تعزيز سلامة الغذاء وحماية المستهلك، حيث جرى تطبيق الغرامات النظامية بحق المخالفين، وإغلاق عدد من المحلات المخالفة وفق الأنظمة والتعليمات المعتمدة.
وقد شاركت في الجولة جهات حكومية ذات علاقة، وشملت شرطة منطقة عسير، وأمن المهمات والواجبات الخاصة، وأمانة المنطقة، ووزارة الموارد البشرية والتنمية الاجتماعية، والهيئة العامة للغذاء والدواء، ووزارة التجارة، فيما تواصل الوزارة جهودها الحثيثة في مراقبة أسواق النفع العام والمسالخ، والتأكد من سلامة المنتجات، وتطبيق النظام لأجل صحة المواطن والمقيم.
The branch of the Ministry of Environment, Water, and Agriculture in the Asir region, through the Fish Committee, seized 594 kg of spoiled and unfit fish for human consumption during a field tour of fish-selling shops in the city of Abha and the governorate of Khamis Mushait. This is part of the regulatory efforts aimed at enhancing food safety and protecting consumers, where legal fines were imposed on violators, and several non-compliant shops were closed in accordance with the approved regulations and instructions.
Government entities related to this matter participated in the tour, including the Asir region police, special duties security, the region’s municipality, the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development, the General Authority for Food and Drug, and the Ministry of Commerce. Meanwhile, the ministry continues its diligent efforts to monitor public benefit markets and slaughterhouses, ensuring the safety of products and enforcing regulations for the health of citizens and residents.
