يستعد المخرج كريستوف جانس لطرح فيلم «Return to Silent Hill» في دور العرض المصرية يوم 21 يناير، وهو اقتباس مباشر لقصة لعبة Silent Hill 2، ويعد عودة له إلى سلسلة Silent Hill بعد غياب طويل.
وأشار جانس إلى أن الفيلم سيعتمد بشكل أكبر على الرعب النفسي والقلق بدلاً من الفزعات المفاجئة، مستلهماً توجهات موجة أفلام الرعب الحديثة التي تركز على الإدراك والهلوسة.
بعد عاطفي قوي
كما أضاف أن العمل يحمل بعداً عاطفياً قويّاً من خلال قصة حب تدفع البطل للنزول إلى عالم مرعب لإنقاذ من يحب، مع منح الشخصية الرئيسية خلفية أوسع لتعزيز الدراما.
قصة وأبطال الفيلم
ويعد الفيلم من بطولة جيريمي إيرفاين وهانا إميلي أندرسون، ويشارك في الإنتاج عدد من الدول، ويتولى إخراجه وتأليفه كريستوف جانس، بمشاركة ويليام جوزيف شنايدر وساندرا فو-آن في الكتابة.
اقتباس Silent Hill 2
يشار إلى أن الفيلم مأخوذ من قصة لعبة Silent Hill 2، التي تعتبر من أبرز ألعاب الرعب النفسي، ويأتي نسخةً سينمائيةً من أحد أفضل أجزاء السلسلة، بعد توقف طويل منذ الجزء الثاني الذي عرض عام 2012.
Director Christophe Gans is preparing to release the film “Return to Silent Hill” in Egyptian theaters on January 21, which is a direct adaptation of the story from the game Silent Hill 2, marking his return to the Silent Hill series after a long absence.
Gans indicated that the film will rely more on psychological horror and anxiety rather than jump scares, drawing inspiration from the trends of modern horror films that focus on perception and hallucination.
A strong emotional dimension
He also added that the work carries a strong emotional dimension through a love story that drives the protagonist to descend into a terrifying world to save the one he loves, while providing the main character with a broader background to enhance the drama.
The story and cast of the film
The film stars Jeremy Irvine and Hannah Emily Anderson, and is produced in collaboration with several countries, with Christophe Gans directing and writing, alongside William Joseph Schneider and Sandra Vo-An contributing to the script.
Adaptation of Silent Hill 2
It is noted that the film is based on the story of the game Silent Hill 2, which is considered one of the most prominent psychological horror games, and it comes as a cinematic version of one of the best installments in the series, following a long hiatus since the second installment released in 2012.
