رافقت «عكاظ» أمس (الثلاثاء) السياح الأجانب وممثلي البرنامج السعودي لتنمية وإعمار اليمن في رحلتهم الأولى إلى سقطرى ضمن خطة تدشين خط «جدة – سقطرى» من قبل الخطوط الجوية اليمنية، في إطار الدعم والاهتمام السعودية بالأرخبيل والشعب اليمني عموماً.
وعلى واقع التوديع السعودي والتسهيلات التي قدمتها المملكة وتشدد على تقديمها وتمثلت بالحفاوة والتوديع من قبل مسؤولي مطار جدة وكل القطاعات العاملة فيه، ومتابعة وحرص البرنامج السعودي لتنمية وإعمار اليمن على تنفيذ التوجيهات من القيادة للنهوض باليمن ودعمه، التقت «عكاظ» أحد السياح الأمريكيين الذي أكد أن الأمر كان بسيطاً للوصول إلى سقطرى لوجستياً.
وقال السائح في حديثه على متن الطائرة اليمنية المتجهة إلى سقطرى: تم التعامل معنا بشكل جيد، وشركة الطيران سهلت الحجز بمساعدة الوكلاء في سقطرى، قاموا بعمل جيد جداً وساعدونا في كل شيء، وفي الوقت المناسب. وأضاف: نحن الآن في طريقنا إلى سقطرى.
وأشار إلى أنها كانت تجربة رائعة في مطار جدة، موضحاً أنهم شعروا بالترحيب من الجميع في المطار والطائرة.
وأعرب عن سعادته بالحفاوة السعودية قائلاً: سعداء بالحصول على بعض الهدايا التذكارية.
وأضاف: نحن سعداء جداً بالحصول على طريق للوصول إلى سقطرى، ونتمنى أن تكون رحلة جيدة.
“Okaz” accompanied foreign tourists and representatives of the Saudi Program for the Development and Reconstruction of Yemen yesterday (Tuesday) on their first trip to Socotra as part of the launch plan for the “Jeddah – Socotra” route by Yemenia Airways, within the framework of Saudi support and interest in the archipelago and the Yemeni people in general.
Reflecting the Saudi farewell and the facilities provided by the Kingdom, which emphasizes its commitment to hospitality and farewell from the officials at Jeddah Airport and all the sectors operating there, as well as the follow-up and dedication of the Saudi Program for the Development and Reconstruction of Yemen to implement the directives from the leadership to uplift Yemen and support it, “Okaz” met one of the American tourists who confirmed that it was easy to reach Socotra logistically.
The tourist said in his remarks on board the Yemeni flight heading to Socotra: We were treated well, and the airline facilitated the booking with the help of agents in Socotra, they did a very good job and helped us with everything, and on time. He added: We are now on our way to Socotra.
He noted that it was a wonderful experience at Jeddah Airport, explaining that they felt welcomed by everyone at the airport and on the plane.
He expressed his happiness with the Saudi hospitality, saying: We are happy to receive some souvenirs.
He added: We are very happy to have a way to reach Socotra, and we hope it will be a good trip.
