وأكدت الأسرة أن ما قيل غير دقيق، وأن الأمر لم يكن مزحة، مشددة على أن رشدي أباظة كان ملتزماً بعمله ويحترم المرأة، نافياً أي مزاعم عن سلوكيات غير صحيحة.
