كشف الملحن والشاعر الغنائي عزيز الشافعي اتخاذ إجراءات قانونية صارمة ضد عدد من رواد مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي، على خلفية حملة الانتقادات الحادة والإساءات الشخصية التي تعرض لها عقب طرح أغنية «بحرية»، التي جمعت لأول مرة بين الفنانين شيرين عبدالوهاب ومحمد حماقي.
هجوم شخصي
وظهر الشافعي في مقطع فيديو نشره على حساباته الرسمية، عبر فيه عن استيائه من تحول النقاش حول العمل الفني من نقد موضوعي إلى هجوم شخصي، وصل إلى حد التشكيك في مسيرته الفنية التي تمتد لأكثر من 20 عاماً في صناعة الأغنية العربية.
ديو خفيف
وأكد الشافعي أن الأغنية لا تتضمن أي إساءة، بل هي مجرد «ديو خفيف»، وتم تفسيرها بشكل خاطئ من قبل البعض، مشدداً على أن ما يتعرض له يمثل محاولة لتقليل جهد سنوات من العمل والنجاح في الساحة الفنية.
وأشار إلى ترحيبه بالنقد الفني البناء، لكنه يرفض تماماً الانزلاق نحو الإهانة والسب والقذف، لافتاً إلى أن هذا التجاوز هو ما دفعه لاتخاذ مسار قانوني عبر القضاء المصري.
وتزامن هذا التصعيد مع حالة جدل واسعة أثارتها الأغنية منذ صدورها، وتصدرها الترند وقوائم المشاهدة في مصر خلال 24 ساعة فقط، رغم الانقسام الواضح في آراء الجمهور حول مدى ملاءمة كلماتها للأداء المشترك بين شيرين وحماقي.
The composer and lyricist Aziz Al-Shafie has taken strict legal action against a number of social media influencers, following a campaign of sharp criticism and personal insults he faced after the release of the song “Bahriya,” which brought together for the first time the artists Sherine Abdel Wahab and Mohamed Hamaki.

Al-Shafie appeared in a video he posted on his official accounts, expressing his dissatisfaction with the shift in the discussion about the artistic work from objective criticism to personal attacks, which reached the point of questioning his artistic career that spans over 20 years in the Arab music industry.
Light Duet
Al-Shafie confirmed that the song does not contain any offense; rather, it is merely a “light duet,” and it has been misinterpreted by some. He emphasized that what he is experiencing represents an attempt to undermine years of effort and success in the artistic arena.
He indicated his welcome of constructive artistic criticism but completely rejects slipping into insults and slander, noting that this transgression is what prompted him to take a legal path through the Egyptian judiciary.
This escalation coincided with a wide controversy sparked by the song since its release, topping the trends and viewing lists in Egypt within just 24 hours, despite the clear division in public opinion regarding the appropriateness of its lyrics for the joint performance between Sherine and Hamaki.
